In just a few short months, Family Resource Center has become a trusted place for families to find connection, support, and resources. From helping caregivers navigate challenges to building playful spaces for children, the Center is already making a lasting impact in our community.

Helping Families Find Their Way

When life gets complicated, it can be hard to know where to turn. That’s where our Resource Navigation team comes in. Whether it’s connecting families with vital services, offering guidance, or simply providing a listening ear, we’ve been there to help families find solutions. Since March, we’ve worked alongside 82 families to make sure they have what they need to thrive.

Standing Beside Kinship Caregivers

Raising a loved one’s child comes with unique challenges—and unique joys. Our Kinship Resource Navigation program is designed especially for relative caregivers, offering tailored support, legal referrals, and connection opportunities. We’re excited to soon launch a kinship caregiver support group, and we’re already working closely with 7 families who are walking this path.

Building Connections Through Play

Children learn best through play—and parents thrive when they feel connected. That’s why our Building Connections events are such a vital part of Family Resource Center. Over the past six months, we’ve hosted 28 events, bringing together 23 families, 35 children, and 26 adults to explore, learn, and build relationships. These gatherings create a safe and joyful space for kids while giving parents and caregivers a chance to share ideas, stories, and support.

Meeting Practical Needs

Sometimes, what a family needs most is something simple but essential—like diapers, laundry detergent, or toilet paper. Since opening our doors, we’ve assisted over 250 families in accessing these concrete resources, easing the daily pressures so families can focus on what matters most: caring for one another.

Looking Ahead

Family Resource Center’s early success is just the beginning. Each number represents a story—of resilience, connection, and hope. Together, we are building a community where families feel supported, children can grow and thrive, and no one has to face challenges alone.
